MemberSplit helps you organize and collect payments for subscriptions shared between people who already know each other — never strangers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the platforms shown.
How it works
Two sides of every group. Pick the one that sounds like you.
Be an organizer
You already pay for the subscription. Let the people sharing it cover their part.
- 1Pay the bill like you always do
- 2Start a group and invite the people you share with
- 3Get Paid Automatically — Each month, every other member's share is collected and sent straight to you. You still cover your own share of the bill, just like everyone else.
Join a group
Someone you know already runs the plan. Hop in and pay only your share.
- 1Get invited with a link
- 2Link a bank account or card once
- 3Pay Your Share — Your split of the group's bill is charged automatically each month, so you only ever pay for your portion — and you save money every month.

Any recurring bill you already share with people you know: streaming, music, gaming, cloud storage, productivity tools, security and VPN, bills and utilities, shopping and delivery memberships, fitness and wellness, or anything else recurring that your group already pays for together. MemberSplit doesn't match you with strangers to fill a plan, it's only for splitting a bill among people who are already sharing it.
There's a flat $3/month platform fee per group, divided evenly across everyone in the group — including the organizer. You pay no platform fee for your first month on MemberSplit — a one-time waiver, not a free month for every group you join — and there are no other hidden charges.
Once you finish payout setup, each member's share is transferred automatically to your linked Stripe account and paid out to your bank every time that member's monthly payment goes through. Bank (ACH) payments can take a few business days to clear before the transfer happens.
A failed payment is recorded, and you're only reimbursed for payments that actually succeed. Automatic reminders and retries are something we're actively building out. For now, you'd follow up with that member directly.
Organizers can cancel a group anytime from the dashboard, which stops billing for every member. Members can leave a group anytime from the dashboard, which stops their own charge and re-splits the remaining cost among whoever's left. Either way it takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle, there's no refund or proration of the current one.
Yes. Card and bank details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We only keep a reference ID that Stripe gives us.
